As a third-generation family-run company based in Göppingen (Southern Germany), we have established ourselves as a renowned lighting manufacturer. Our luminaires combine decades of experience, innovative technology and precision craftsmanship – in every form of production: whether as an artistic one-off or in highly efficient series production. Our manufacturing facilities produce sculptural lighting objects such as FAVO and AVVENI, which stylishly showcase rooms. At the same time, we offer efficient series solutions for larger projects, ensuring the highest quality and flexibility ‘Made in Germany’.
A Family Business with Tradition
SATTLER represents generations of craftsmanship and innovation in design. Founded by Hans Sattler in the 1950s, the company was taken over by Ulrich Sattler, the second generation, and is now managed by Tim and Sven Sattler, combining tradition and innovation Since Ulrich's retirement from the management in July 2024, he has been working for us as a creative consultant and designer, ensuring that his vision continues to shape the company.
Our family roots and close-knit community are what set us apart. We combine many years of experience with new ideas to continuously develop our luminaires. This ongoing development and our commitment to the highest quality define our work.
Our manufactory produces lamps that impress with their precision craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each lamp is carefully crafted with a high degree of expertise. This dedication to craftsmanship makes every SATTLER lamp a masterpiece.
Our materials come from regional suppliers and emphasise our commitment to quality. By using high-quality surfaces, we create timeless luminaires that are not only functional but also inspire as design objects.
Premium Surfaces and Materials
At SATTLER, we only use authentic materials and surfaces. This means that wood or moss don't just look like wood, but are genuine natural products - e.g. as real wood veneer. Our premium surfaces are characterised by their durability and special feel. Each surface is carefully selected to ensure aesthetic and functional quality. We work closely with regional partners to ensure short supply chains and sustainable processes. If required, we can also fulfil individual special requests.
Customised project luminaires
At SATTLER, we go beyond standard solutions. We offer customised project luminaires that precisely meet the requirements of your rooms – whether by modifying existing luminaires or by developing completely new special solutions.
Thanks to our in-house production processes and expertise, even the most demanding designs can be realised. By customising size, shape, technology and materials, we can perfectly match each luminaire to your project.
