FLEXIBLY CONTROLABLE – FAVO THE LIGHT NET

in the new showroom of the EVF Göppingen,  Energieversorgung Filstal

Energieversorgung Filstal (EVF) has been a competent and certified service provider for gas, energy and water for over 150 years. EVF is now one of the ten largest energy suppliers in Baden-Württemberg and continues to present itself as a modern energy supplier with its new customer centre, which opened in March 2020.

‘EVF is adapting to the diverse requirements of a modern energy supplier. With the modern, bright, light-flooded design, we not only want to give our customer centre a contemporary flair, but also symbolically present EVF ‘even closer to the customer’ to the outside world,’ says a delighted Dr Martin Bernhart, Managing Director of EVF.

The architectural firm blocher partners describes their project as:

‘An inviting service centre and modern office world
A building that embodies grandeur in its urban context while demonstrating openness and transparency towards customers and employees: The new administration building of Energieversorgung Filstal (EVF) in Göppingen combines the highest quality of living and working with an inviting customer centre, an exhibition area and a training kitchen as well as workplaces based on the New Work principle.

[...] Reflecting the down-to-earth character of EVF, the building is characterised by a compact, clear structure. The architectural language results from an interplay of dualities: The clear, cubic structure of the building and interior surfaces characterised by exposed concrete contrast with soft forms such as round seating niches and counters as well as the warmth created by the selective use of wood.

A sculptural staircase connects the ground floor and first floor, while a core of laser-cut sheet steel expresses EVF's values of strength, quality and reliability.’

The far-reaching energy network.

In the entrance area of the newly designed office and exhibition building, the honeycomb structures of the FAVO luminaires, arranged on three levels, create a harmonious structure and connection between the ground floor and the upper floor. The exhibition area on the ground floor can thus be flexibly illuminated using the individually controllable luminaire heads of FAVO THE LIGHT NET.

FAVO THE LIGHT NET at EVF:

13.3 square metres with 110 heads of 5-6W each (approx. 660W) - divided into three levels with 55, 26 and 29 luminaire heads. Each luminaire head is equipped with three direct spotlights and a small additional spotlight for indirect lighting, which in turn can all be controlled individually.
