MÜNZING's new premises not only offer a modern working environment, but also functional rooms for conferences and meetings. Spacious laboratories for application technology, research and development are also part of the new company headquarters.
In the spacious and modern building, the circular shape is a key stylistic element that has been consistently implemented in the architecture and interior design, as well as in the exterior. A stylish and bright reception area conveys an impression of a lively, open corporate culture as soon as you enter the building.
Well-proportioned and tailored to all lighting requirements, the circular shape has therefore also become a supporting or floating element in the lighting.
Right in the entrance area, large ANELLO ring luminaires from SATTLER with a diameter of up to 6 metres set visual accents and ensure perfect lighting.
In order to reduce the sound level of the stone-floored entrance area and optimise the room acoustics, over 60 round SATTLER acoustic sails were integrated in addition to the ring luminaires in the ground floor and first floor, based on the shape of the luminaires. The acoustic sails, which float at different heights on thin steel cables, are fitted with a sound-absorbing acoustic membrane, are also partially backlit and, in addition to improving the acoustics, provide additional indirect light for homogeneous illumination of the room.
The "LIGHT RING" can also be found in the cafeteria area in the form of the slim DOPPIO luminaire with direct/indirect light component, creating a relaxed lighting atmosphere. Further energy-efficient SLIM and DOPPIO-LINEA LED ring luminaires above the seating areas, counter and meeting area complete the sophisticated and visually appealing lighting ensemble.
The overall solution, planned and designed by SATTLER in consultation with the MÜLLER architectural office, adapts to all lighting requirements and reproduces a wide variety of lighting scenes as needed. Using a tablet or smartphone, luminaires can be controlled individually or in groups via an app, or complete lighting scenes can be saved and reproduced according to a wide variety of criteria.
