600 square metres of CREATIVE SPACE

The newly constructed office building provides Schumann Project GmbH with an innovative and creative home. The new office building offers 600 square metres of space over two floors for a new, multifunctional working and creative environment.

The open floor plan and the large spans of the timber construction create a light and friendly open-plan office that can be divided into separate areas using light curtains. In addition to the communal table, there are also creative retreats, meeting rooms and a lounge with a kitchen. The upper floor offers a generous exhibition and event area, which is activated by an integrated grandstand.

The influence of the collective experience of the various business activities of the entire company in furniture and interior design, contract furnishing and as a general contractor is of course also reflected in the well-thought-out overall concept of the new building. In the new building, thought was given to the future. The open floor plan on the upper floor and the same pre-installed building technology also form the cornerstone for an expansion of the office space here, and the grandstand on the first floor, for example, is not only a seating area but also a clever storage space.

LINEAR MEETS ROUND

The linear luminaires of the SATTLER PALADIO series correspond with the round SLIM luminaires within the open architecture and are formative elements of the lighting concept of both building floors.

The advantages of the PALADIO 35 PRISM luminaires are particularly convincing above the individual workstations. The prismatic reflector of the luminaires provides glare-free and reflection-free light on the work surface, thus enabling fatigue-free, pleasant working. Eight of the slim luminaires, each 3370 mm long, extend above the office desks. Other PALADIOs in lengths of 1410, 2250 and 2810 are used in other areas. Their simple appearance in brushed and anodised aluminium harmonises perfectly with the warm wood colours of the interior and fits unobtrusively into the rooms.

In the meeting areas, which can be zoned using curtains, SLIM DIRECT luminaires with a diameter of 1550 mm provide an attractive contrast to the linear elements. In particular, the almost invisible suspension and the filigree profiling of the luminaire give the luminaires a very special lightness. Matching these, six cylindrical FINO PENDANT luminaires in brushed aluminium, 600 mm long, provide an inviting ambience in the kitchen area above the communal dining table with their accentuated light.

The combination of linear PALADIO with round SLIM pendant luminaires is also repeated on the first floor. The room is gently divided into different areas simply by using different luminaires. Ring luminaires are suspended above the grandstand, and PALADIO lines span the open space of the active break or presentation room.

All luminaires can be individually controlled and thus individually switched and dimmed via the building's bus system with DALI control.
